Architectural Fees

Planworks Design will provide an obligation free quote for architectural services based upon the extent of architectural work required. It is usual for the fee quote to be a fixed fee covering an agreed extent of work, which may be:

• Preliminary and Approved Design
• Town Planning Application
• Project Documentation and Building Permit Application.

In the case of new houses, where a Client requires contract Administration, the Architectural fee may be based upon a percentage of the expected building cost, on a scale as recommended by the Royal Institute of Architects.

Where architectural work is required to cover work that is difficult to quantify in time, the architectural fee may be offered on an hourly rate.
